I was at one of my besties getting ready for our Halloween night at BBB and the X-Factor started. I'm always intrigued to see what Cheryl Cole is wearing - yes I have admitted it. Cheryl is known for wearing big names like Matthew Williamson and Alexander McQueen.
But I was absolutely amazed when she came out in a David Koma dress, to which my shrieks and oh my gosh's drew no attention from my unbemused friends zombifying and bloodifying themselves and I had to tweet straight away (before GraziaLive might I add).
The dress has since received an array of attention since last night's show. Driving home from a Vivienne Westwood lecture this evening one of the radio DJs referred to the top of the dress as 'some sort of plant pot attachments'.
Reporting for F.TAPE I was front row and with my co-reporter interviewed the designer after his SS10 catwalk and took a closer look at the pieces backstage, and trust me when I tell you that his pieces are as stunning off camera! In the age of celebrity overload I think it's great that Cheryl is supporting and raising the profile of an up and coming designer!
You can find David Koma's profile on F.TAPE http://www.ftape.com/media/?p=2702. I have a feeling all of the stylists are using F.TAPE as their secret ultimate fashion resource.
Cool!
ReplyDeleteI love his stuff, and didn't realise he was so good-looking too.
